The kart Shoppe offers its clientele the service of different racing teams, designed to suite there needs.

The Kart Shoppe Racing Team

The Kart Shoppe racing team is our main racing team, which started as a pioneering idea in 2003. This team has become the most professional team since its inception and remains in this position to date. Catering for the professional karter, this team is designed to help professional karters achieve there objectives.
The number of members in the team is limited, and there is always a waiting list to get into this team.
The policy behind the team is to improve and hone its driver’s skills, developing them into championship winners. All equipment is kept and maintained at The Kart Shoppe. All equipment is prepared to the highest levels for each race meeting. Facilities of the team are used by its drivers, and there are always constant updates to the teams facilities. Each driver is worked with individually and trained on how to operate in a team environment. Professional advisors run this team.

All equipment is transported in the team vehicle, and the team infrastructure is used at events.

An annual retainer team fee is charged to be part of the team.

The team operates with the motto “WIN OUR MOST- IMPORTANT TRADITION” in mind.
The team makes use of Birel latest equipment.

Castrol Toyota Development Team

The Kart Shoppe was approached by Castrol and Toyota to take care of its development karting section. We are very proud to be associated with Castrol and Toyota who truly have a need to see youngsters developed into race winners. We have set up a team that guides these youngsters to achieve great results. The team has become the most successful development team producing National kart champions for the past two years running. The well known youngster, Axcil Jefferies achieved two national championships as part of this team. Morgan Mccoll and Tasmin Pepper both featured very predominantly whilst under the guidance of the team

The Kart Shoppe Regional Team

As the name says, this team was set up to assist karters who do not necessarily want to compete at the highest level, but still want to be competitive at events they participate in. It is created for those who only aim to do regional and club events. The principal remains the same however as in The Kart Shoppe Racing Team. All equipment is kept and maintained at The Kart Shoppe. Guidance and setup is provided for at the events this team participates in. Team facilities are available for team members. A monthly retainer is charged for this service.

With many years of experience in karting, The Kart Shoppe has established links to the international racing scene. Whether its World Championship events, Euro Challenge Events or once off international events, The Kart Shoppe can cater for you. The Kart Shoppe has produced several world champions namely– Wesleigh Orr, Mark Cronje and Leeroy Poulter.
